ATTENTION WORLDPORT TEAMSTERS

This morning, Teamsters Local 89 received official notice from UPS (attached to this post) stating their intention to restructure the 2DA sort at UPS Worldport to be primarily a Sunday through Thursday operation.

Local 89 officials will be meeting with UPS Labor Management in the near future to discuss this sudden and unexpected change and we will seek ways to reduce the impact on the lives of our affected members.

We have no further information about this change at this time, but we will do our best to update our membership as the situation evolves.
