Throughout the past week, hundreds of UPS members from the Air and Ground divisions have attended a series of contract explanation meetings at Teamsters Local 89.  Throughout each meeting, all changes and additions contained in the proposed National Master Agreement and Central Region Supplement, were throughly reviewed with those in attendance. 

During and afterwards, the members voiced their outrage and opposition to the two substandard proposals, vowing to carry this energy back to their workplaces to mobilize a NO vote.  These members will do so with the full support of all UPS stewards, agents and the Local 89 Executive Board, all of whom unanimously recommended rejection of the proposals in a meeting last week. 

Further meetings are scheduled throughout the day tomorrow, May 26.  All members who can make the meeting for their center or workgroup should attend.  We hope to see you there!
